About Jasmine Kalus

For over a decade, I’ve worked as a practitioner in People & Culture, Wellbeing, Social Work, and Positive Psychology, driven by a passion for human flourishing. My focus is on creating environments that promote positive transformation and enhance the wellbeing and capabilities of both individuals and organisations.

I hold a Bachelor of Professional Communications, a Master’s in Social Work, and a Diploma in Positive Psychology, complemented by extensive hands-on experience. My career choice stems from a deep desire to help people unlock their potential, and I’ve witnessed firsthand the powerful impact of individual and collective growth on organisational success.

I began my career in case management, supporting individuals facing challenges such as family violence, housing instability, education barriers, financial strain, settlement difficulties, and mental health concerns. Over time, I transitioned into the leadership and people and culture arena, where I continue to drive meaningful change.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based methodologies, including Positive Psychology, mindfulness, and non-violent communication. I bring a calm, caring, and goal-oriented mindset to every project, delivering impactful outcomes for individuals, teams, and organisations, fostering growth and lasting transformation.

I specialise in creating safe, inclusive spaces and have developed strong expertise in leadership, risk assessment and management, training, facilitation, supervision, consulting, counselling, communication, mediation, recruitment, performance and change management, workforce planning, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and team collaboration.

I thrive on cultivating cohesive team dynamics, spearheading successful diversity and inclusion initiatives, and achieving tangible improvements in employee satisfaction, productivity, and organisational performance.

As a problem solver with a growth mindset, I am driven to inspire others and optimise outcomes. My colleagues often describe me as reliable, proactive, and a key contributor, with a knack for tackling challenges and fostering team cohesion. In 2023, I was honoured with a Staff Recognition Award for being “A team player, the glue to a team and someone who gets it done. For having initiative and being the leading deckhand of the ship.”

Beyond work, I enjoy exploring new places, strolling in the park, and dancing as often as possible!
